What is Relay For Life?
Relay For Life is an incredible overnight event, organised by the Cancer Council that provides an opportunity for families, friends and colleagues to remember loved ones lost to cancer and to celebrate its survivors.
It also gives a chance to fight back against a disease that impacts far too many people by raising funds for cancer research.

Who are The Slammers?
We are a group of people that like many have been touched by cancer in one of its many forms. We have lost loved ones to cancer and thankfully also have survivors.
Each year we try to do our part by attending the Relay For Life walk event and conducting our own fundraising events. We believe that the funds raised by The Slammers Team and many other teams / events are critical to improving the survivability of cancer for current and future generations.
